i'm not saying go to school looking like a skank, but just do my hair fancy and dress cute!

lately i've been going to class in sweats and pony tails. i am so lonely i'm going crazy.

I started my first day of college last weeka nd I Must say that even the teacher had a thing or two to say about the girls that came to school in ultra low rise pants and halter tops w/ stilettos.

Dressing up too much looks like youre trying to show off and A LOT of other females will see you as trying to be a "diva" and may not bother to approach you or be receptive when you approach them. It just looks like youre trying to hard. If you want to have a sexy look while not looking ridiculous...try fitting (not skintight) jeans, and a baby polo or fitted graphic tee (again not skin tight) but you'll look great feel comfortable and you won look like a "diva" (lol) even your professor may be more responsive to you. (professor can be self conscious about their outfits and looks too) Good Luck and enjoy college!!!

Generally, People who dress up for class (really nicely) are made fun of or everyone knows they are freshman. A good way to get involved is to find out the different clubs and organizations on your campus. i know mine has a clubfest.

I had trouble making friends at first to but just get involved and don't be afraid to put yourself out there.

yes. definitely guys will want to approach an attractive girl that cares about her looks.. on the other hand, maybe the people in college aren't interested in making friends and are concentrating on school.

Find people who are interested in the same things that you enjoy. Join a club or an activity, do stuff, and you'll meet people that you enjoy being with.

You can't base friendship on just looks. I found that out the hard way.

Sexy NO! Save that for the date. Dress for an unexpected invite where you're not thinking "oh, I gotta change". Clean and casual. You'll have plenty of time for the "sweats and pony tails" after you're married and have kids where it seems there is absolutely no time. LOL - Nancie
